About the procedure and its differences
It has long been known about the fundamental difference between Eastern and European methods of healing. In the East, they focus on the cause of pathologies, while in Europe, they treat the ailment that has already undermined the body. Even the name of the ancient Indian healing method Ayurveda translates as ayur - life, veda - knowledge, i.e. - “Knowledge of life”. This constitutes its main essence, which involves harmonizing the body’s energy balance. Now no one doubts the effective impact of this teaching, one of whose therapeutic techniques is Indian massage. Its main goal is not so much to promote physical relaxation, to affect areas affected by the ailment, but to ensure psychological calmness, to create conditions for the free movement of energy flows. After all, their imbalance, as Ayurveda indicates, underlies the occurrence of various pathologies.

All this contributes to slowing down aging, stimulates the process of body renewal at the cellular level, improves skin turgor, provides good sleep and relieves muscle fatigue;
- Marma - refers to one of the oldest techniques, named in connection with its main task - working out certain points of the body (marmas), where energy accumulates, affecting the regulation of the activity of internal organs. Massage is often used for the face, where there are many acupuncture points. Usually, Indian Marma massage is performed after Abhyanga. Ayurveda claims that this combination perfectly starts self-healing processes in the body;
- Shirodhara - involves massaging the head. For several minutes, a warm oil stream is poured into the area of the so-called third eye (above the bridge of the nose), which causes relaxation.
