
For hundreds of years, people have used the healing properties of essential oils to get rid of ailments. Eucalyptus essential oil is a natural healer, time-tested. It is produced from the plant of the Eucalyptus genus, growing in Australia, India, and Southeast Asia. Eucalyptus essential oil is a thick volatile liquid with a high content of useful substances and a characteristic odor.

Characteristics
Natural eucalyptus essential oil is translucent, with a slight yellowish tint, has a pronounced pungent resinous smell, reminiscent of a mixture of camphor and menthol. The liquid is oily, viscous. The texture is slippery to the touch, but not greasy.
When buying, it is important to ensure the quality of the product:
- Eucalyptus aroma oil is poured into small dark brown glass bottles with a dispenser.
- The label must indicate “100% Pure oil”, the Latin name of the raw material plant Eucalyptus, expiration date, batch number, and manufacturer’s address.
- The essential oil must be certified by the Customs Union or have a Registration Certificate from the Ministry of Health.
- Too low a price is a reason to be wary – the composition contains synthetic components or a low-quality aromatic mixture is sold.
Restored or reconstructed aroma oil has no therapeutic value – the integrity of the essential oil chains is broken in it.

How to use correctly
Eucalyptus ether is a strong-acting drug, so it should be used with caution, in a diluted form.
Eucalyptus essential oil application.
- Inhalations – 1-2 drops per half liter of water, heated to 40°, once or twice a day. The procedure is effective for colds, viral infections, angina, rhinitis.
- Rinses – 3-5 drops per glass of warm boiled water with the addition of 0.5 teaspoon of soda or a spoonful of honey. Used for angina, laryngitis.
- Compresses – 3-4 drops per glass of warm water (for soaking the fabric). Apply to inflamed areas of the skin with eczema and dermatitis, to the forehead and calves to lower the temperature.
- Applications – 6-8 drops per 15 ml of any cosmetic oil. Apply a cotton swab moistened with an oil mixture to the sore spot for 10-15 minutes several times a day to regenerate the skin after burns and treat purulent rashes.
- Douches – 5 drops per glass of warm water with 0.5 teaspoon of soda dissolved in it.
- In aroma lamps – 3-5 drops in a bowl of water. Aromatization time 30-60 minutes – for deodorization and disinfection of premises.
- In an aroma pendant – 2-3 drops.
- For massage – 7-8 drops in an oil mixture (with olive, almond) or massage cream. Effective for influenza, bronchitis, pneumonia, cystitis, pancreatic diseases, rheumatism, arthritis, osteochondrosis, and muscle pain.
- In reflexology – mix in a 1:1 ratio with olive oil, act on biologically active points. Rubbing eucalyptus extract into the temporal part relieves headaches.
- For rubbing – 10-15 drops mixed with 10 ml of any cosmetic oil (peach, olive). Rub into the sore spot until completely absorbed. With a cough, rubbing is carried out 3-4 times a day, ending the procedure with strong patting movements on the back and chest.
- For bath procedures – 5 drops per bucket. Baths with eucalyptus have a positive effect on the whole body.
- For baths – 6-7 drops mixed with 1 teaspoon of base oil (almond, jojoba), add to water. After taking a bath, it is recommended to wrap yourself warmly and lie down for half an hour.
- Enrichment of face creams – 3-6 drops per 15 grams of face cream.
- For acne – 10-15 drops per 100 grams of boiled water. Wipe your face twice a day.
- For hair – 10-15 drops per 100 grams to enrich the shampoo. Against dandruff, make a warm mask – 5-7 drops per 50 grams of olive oil, rub into the scalp, wrap for half an hour, rinse. To strengthen and grow, apply to the comb, run several times through the hair.
